iHire Product Update – December 2025

As we close out the year, we’re excited to share a few final enhancements to our platform for 2025 that will make hiring even easier in 2026 and beyond. In this iHire product update, you’ll learn about our new candidate message center, job posting analytics, and company profile customizations. 

New Candidate Message Center

You’ve long enjoyed access to a message center to communicate with job seekers directly through our platform. Now, this feature is available to our candidates.

When signed in to their account, candidates can navigate to their message center by selecting “Message Center” on the left-hand menu of their dashboard. There, they can read and respond to messages from hiring managers and recruiters sent through our platform.

When they get a new message, job seekers will see a notification on their dashboard and receive the same message in an email. They may also choose to respond to the message via email instead of through our platform, but all correspondence will be saved in their message center.

Candidates cannot initiate new conversations but can reply to employer messages to ensure you maintain control over the communications you receive.

Job Seeker Location Insights

We’ve added a new feature to the Job Insights tab that shows the location of the candidates who are engaging with your job ads. This information helps you assess the quality, reach, and effectiveness of your posting to support smarter advertising decisions.

To access these details, navigate to “Job Insights” under “Analytics” on your dashboard menu. Select “Candidates Viewing Your Jobs” at the top of the page to jump down to a bubble map. The map visualizes where candidates viewing your job are located, with each circle’s size representing the number of candidates in that area. This allows you to quickly identify potential hiring hotspots and patterns, as well as see if candidates outside of your location are viewing your job.

From there, you can adjust your job ad targeting and content as needed to ensure you are reaching the right audience. (Please note that individual addresses are not shown, as we value the privacy of our users.)

Company Profile Color Customizations

“I wish I could customize my company profile with my exact brand colors.”

If this sounds like you, you’re in luck! Now you can add custom colors to your free company profile for a completely cohesive user experience with your employer brand.

To do so, navigate to the “Company Profiles” tab and select “Manage” next to the profile you’d like to update. Select “Styles & Color.”

Under each “Primary” and “Secondary” color, you may select a custom color from the color picker, using the slider to find the right hue. You can also use an eyedropper tool to pick a color that’s already on your screen, or if you have a color code (e.g., RGB, HSL, Hex), you may enter it below the slider.

Keep in mind that to ensure readability, select a darker color for your text if your primary color is a lighter shade. If your primary color is a darker shade, select a lighter color for your text.

Don’t forget to hit “Save” once your colors have been selected.
