iHire Product Update – October 2025
There’s always something new on iHire’s platform, and October brought two exciting features to make hiring even easier: an AI-powered chatbot (aptly named “Scout”) and access to exclusive candidate insights that give you a glimpse inside the minds of today’s job seekers. Let’s dive into this month’s iHire product update.
Meet Scout, Your New AI-Powered Hiring Assistant
Introducing our new AI-powered Chatbot, Scout. Employers can now interact with an intelligent chatbot right on our platform, enhancing their experience with quick, personalized assistance.
To chat with Scout, sign in to your account and select the conversation bubbles icon at the bottom of your screen.

As with most chatbots, you can interact with Scout like you would with a real person – ask questions to streamline your recruiting process, optimize your account, learn how to use our AI hiring tools, and more. For example, you can ask Scout how to create your company profile, set up Resume Search alerts, or improve your job description, to name just a few use cases.

Scout will respond with personalized feedback, offering step-by-step instructions and links to relevant resources to address your query. Scout will also maintain your daily conversation history and use your previous messages for context, so it’s constantly getting smarter when tailoring responses to meet your needs.


Additionally, you will see Scout listed as a team member on your account. From your “Team Members” tab, you can customize your AI Assistant experience, selecting the features you’d like to use.

Moving forward, we will be continuously enhancing Scout to ensure even faster response times and improved context awareness, so it provides the best-possible support.

Get Inside the Job Seeker Mindset With Exclusive Candidate Insights
Have you ever wondered what today’s job seekers are really thinking? Look no further than our new Candidate Insights feature.
Now, you can access exclusive survey data gathered from candidates across the iHire network right within our platform. Discover valuable datapoints on top talent’s views on topics such as job search challenges, employment dealbreakers, AI, pipelining, and more – then use these insights to optimize your hiring strategies to better attract and engage the right candidates.
Access this information by selecting “Analytics” on your dashboard, then “Candidate Insights.”

Choose which survey results you’d like to view from the drop-down menu. You’ll see visualizations of candidate responses, with the ability to review industry-specific metrics from your preferred iHire talent community.

You can also compare industry-specific data points with benchmark metrics from candidates across all our networks. (Note that if there is insufficient industry-specific data or if you are signed into iHire.com instead of one of our industry-specific sites, you will only see benchmark metrics.)

We frequently field surveys to our candidates as they navigate their job search, so be sure to check back for new data sets. Plus, the data is updated in real time, so you are always seeing the latest job search trends.
