Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems and fixtures.- Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.- Install pipes, fittings, valves, and other plumbing components.- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.- Interpret blueprints and building specifications for plumbing installations.- Provide cost estimates for repair and installation services.- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.- Ensure compliance with local and state plumbing codes and regulations.- Communicate effectively with clients to explain plumbing issues and solutions.- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls.- Keep up to date with the latest plumbing technologies and techniques.- Provide excellent customer service to build and maintain client relationships.- Collaborate with team members and other contractors as needed.
Job Requirements
- Experience with water heaters, drains, and re-pipes.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing.- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.- Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and customer service skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Physical capability to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment.- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.- Availability for on-call and emergency service rotations.- Basic computer skills for report writing and documentation.- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
Pay Range: 25-28 per hour + Commission
