Our client is a hospital that provides multi-specialty and emergency care for cats and dogs, and they are hiring for an Emergency Veterinarian. They operate within a large specialty setting and are seeking an experienced clinician to join their emergency service.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open 24/7. This full-time position offers doctor hours that are open to discussion, allowing for flexibility when structuring the rota.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will handle a wide range of clinical responsibilities consistent with emergency medicine. The role is open to experienced veterinarians and involves managing urgent and critical cases within a busy specialty environment.

Practice Details
This hospital operates within a recently remodeled 18,000-sqft specialty facility that supports a multi-specialty and emergency caseload. In addition to emergency care, the team offers internal medicine, critical care, diagnostic imaging, ICU, medical oncology, neurology, surgery, and radiation oncology. The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, a 16-slice CT with 3D reconstruction capabilities, a Halcyon Linear Accelerator, ultrasound, MRI, and a full in-house laboratory. They also provide fluoroscopy and laparoscopy and have scope towers for urinary, gastrointestinal, nasal, and orthopedic cases. The hospital has an amazing atmosphere, an established referral base, and is a growing team that prioritizes superior pet care while maintaining a family feel.

The hospital features a huge team of DVMs across multiple specialties, supported by a highly trained group of support staff, creating a collaborative and well-resourced environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
