Emergency Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that provides full-service general practice and emergency care for cats and dogs, and they are hiring an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team. This position supports a comprehensive emergency service within a multi-doctor environment, offering the opportunity to manage a variety of urgent and critical cases.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital's general practice operates Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Emergency care is provided 24/7/365. The schedule for doctors is open to discussion, and the position can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis depending on the candidate's preference.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will manage the full scope of ER responsibilities, providing high-quality care for urgent and critical cases. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering a broad clinical experience and exposure to diverse emergency presentations.

Practice Details
The hospital operates within a brand-new facility that opened in 2022. It is equipped with a complete surgical suite, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, cold laser, and a full in-house laboratory. The team provides full-service GP and ER offerings supported by state-of-the-art technology and a dynamic caseload.

Team
The hospital is home to 7 full-time DVMs who work within a strong daily schedule and handle a wide range of interesting cases. They maintain excellent relationships with surrounding referral practices. The support staff is well established, supportive, and exceptional, contributing to a collaborative and highly functional working environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
