Join our team at 48th Street Grille, a full-service restaurant and catering business in West Philadelphia known for our delicious Jamaican Caribbean cuisine and American favorites. We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Utility Worker to help us maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment while supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Assist with dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness in the back of house
• Support food and beverage management with portion control and menu planning
• Operate fryer and grill stations with precision
• Handle food safely and efficiently, demonstrating strong knife skills and baking techniques
• Ensure sanitation standards are met in all food preparation and catering activities

Required Skills:

• Experience in dishwashing, food handling, and kitchen sanitation
• Knowledge of portion control, menu planning, and food safety practices
• Ability to operate fryer and grill stations effectively
• Strong knife skills and baking experience
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Housekeeping experience
• Short-Term Disability knowledge
• Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification
• ServSafe Certified
• Cooking experience

Salary and Benefits:

Minimum Salary: $28,000.00

Maximum Salary: $32,000.00

Benefits: Vacation Leave
