Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Pay: $20 – $21 per hour (based on experience)

POSITION SUMMARY
The Saw Operator sets up, operates, and maintains a variety of saws used to cut raw materials to required dimensions. This role requires strong attention to detail, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to ensure parts meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, charts, and job specifications to determine cutting requirements.
Set up and operate horizontal, vertical, or band saws to cut materials to precise dimensions.
Measure and mark materials using tape measures, calipers, or other precision tools.
Verify dimensions and tolerances of finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and blade changes on saws.
Organize, label, and stage cut materials for downstream operations.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or metal-fabrication environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
Proficient in the use of a tape measure and other measuring devices.
Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for most of the shift.
Exposure to moderate noise, metal chips, and machinery (oil and coolant present).
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at all times.
