Dental Assistant

We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant (DA) to join our patient-centered dental practice! We are a small, boutique-style office that prides itself on providing high-quality care in a warm and welcoming environment. Position: Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant (DA)

Location: La Mesa, CA

Schedule: Full-Time

Monday 7:30a-5:30p
Tuesday 6:30a-4:30p
Wednesday 8:30a-6:30p
Thursday 7:30a-5:30p

Responsibilities:

• Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
• Assist with digital impressions, temporaries, and other clinical procedures
• Provide excellent patient care and help patients feel comfortable
• Support the clinical team to keep the day running smoothly

Qualifications:

• Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license (if you are an RDA)
• Current CPR certification
• X-ray certifcation required
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Friendly, positive attitude with great communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Experience with digital dentistry, CEREC , and/or iTero scanning is a plus
