Join our Team as a Registered Dental Assistant who will work in our front office

All Kids Dental Group in Menifee, CA is seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. Our practice provides pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, which makes each day unique and rewarding. We are looking to add a friendly, skilled R.D.A. who is a team player and who enjoys being around children of all ages, adults with special needs, and who is comfortable communicating with patients and parents. As part of our practice, you will have the opportunity to work in a friendly and compassionate environment that prioritizes the well-being of our patients. Our ideal candidate is friendly, responsible, an excellent communicator and is comfortable on the phone, self-motivated, works well with others, and can take direction. A candidate who has worked in a pediatric dentistry office is preferred. We are willing to train.

Daily Responsibilities

• Answering phones, transferring the calls to appropriate extensions when appropriate
• Greeting families and checking in patients
• Checking out patients and making subsequent appointments
• Creating/modifying appointments to will help our daily flow run smoothly
• Adjusting the schedule as needed to maximize everyone's time
• Ensuring that patient paperwork is completed and entered into the appropriate chart
• Collecting/posting payment from families
• Posting insurance payments
• Communicating with our pediatric dentists, Practice Administrator, and our back office team
• Creating insurance claims, following up on claims, and checking eligibility
• Checking office e-mails and responding to e-mails regarding patient care
• Calling patients to schedule unscheduled continuing care and treatment appointments.
• May occasionally seat patients, help with charting, and other light back office duties if our back office team needs urgent help.

Must Have Skills:

• Current R.D.A. license
• Current B.L.S. certification
• Reliable transportation
• Currently eligible to work in U.S. (I-9)
• Detail oriented

Technical Skills:

• Dentrix Ascend software knowledge
• Typing skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Knowledge of using phone systems with multiple extensions
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Salary and Benefits:

• Minimum Salary: $42,000.00
• Maximum Salary: $58,000.00
