Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal practice in Louisville, Kentucky. The clinic provides comprehensive veterinary care for companion animals and is known for delivering high-quality medicine in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday and Wednesday from 7:30am to 7:30pm, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm, and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a full-time position within the hospital's operating hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality care to companion animals, focusing on wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and client education. The role suits a compassionate, team-oriented veterinarian who values collaboration and a positive work atmosphere. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Practice Details
This well-established small animal hospital offers wellness exams and preventative care, surgery, boarding, outpatient exams and drop-off services, advanced diagnostics, dentistry, nutritional counseling, glaucoma screenings, grooming, and pharmacy services. Diagnostic capabilities include digital radiography for non-invasive imaging, ultrasound for real-time evaluation of internal organs and soft tissues, and a fully equipped in-house IDEXX laboratory providing rapid diagnostic results. The hospital also works with reference laboratories for specialized testing when needed. The environment emphasizes high-quality care, modern diagnostic capabilities, and a collaborative, family-oriented culture that values long-term client relationships.

Team

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
