• Neonatology fellowship required
• Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• PALS and NRP certifications required
• Experience managing complex neonatal conditions, including:
  • Respiratory distress syndrome
  • Intrauterine growth restriction
  • Jaundice
  • Sepsis
  • Intubation, chest tube placement, central lines
  • Paracentesis, spinal taps, exchange transfusions
  • Thermal cooling, ventilator management (including oscillators and iNO)
• Comfortable providing guidance and emotional support to families of critically ill newborns

• Active Michigan medical license required
