Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Salary: $1,960.70 - $2,160.70 /wk

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current ARDMS certification required. Cardiovascular Credentialing International certification may be acceptable if noted by client. This is a client-mandated requirement.
• Current Kansas state license required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer required. Candidate must have successfully completed at least two prior travel contracts. First-time travelers will not be considered.
• BLS Certification required.
• Experience with Meditech electronic medical record preferred.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation. Candidate will provide approximately 50% of on-call coverage per pay period as part of assignment. Specific on-call details to be discussed during interview.
• Ability to complete employer-required drug screen on site and other compliance items prior to start.
• Must be willing to secure housing at least 45 miles from the facility. Candidate should review local housing availability prior to accepting assignment.
• Preferred: experience performing varied scan types in hospital settings and comfort with rotating shifts, varied shift lengths, and weekend coverage.

• Shift Type: 12-hour shifts with possibility to vary to 8-hour shifts for vacations or staffing changes
• Schedule Notes: Rotating weekends. Variable shifts. On-call responsibilities included; percentage of on-call approximately 50% per pay period.
• Floating: May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
