Salary: $2,019.34 - $2,219.34 /wk
Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images used by physicians to evaluate and treat medical conditions. You will perform general sonography, obstetric/gynecologic exams, small parts imaging, and Doppler studies of extremities in a hospital setting. Charting is performed in EPIC. Department has three imaging rooms and uses GE and Philips scanners.
Minimum Requirements:
- ARDMS certification required (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT acceptable; RDMS preferred).
- BLS certification from AHA required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer performing general, OBGYN, small parts, and Doppler studies (legs/arms).
- Experience using EPIC and Synapse (PACS) preferred.
- Experience with GE and Philips ultrasound equipment preferred.
- Must provide radiation badge prior to assignment start.
- Ability to complete a 12-hour orientation week in-state as scheduled by the facility.
- Required documentation: valid driver's license with a 60-mile radius for travel considerations.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift schedule: Days, 0700-1800 (10-hour shifts; typical shift times also include 0730-1800 or 0800-1630 depending on scheduling).
- Weekend requirement: On-call only for weekends.
- Call requirement: Weekday and weekend on-call rotation. Weekday on-call may occur two to three times and covers 1800-0700. Weekend coverage is strictly on-call.
- Average studies per day: Roughly 10.
- Orientation: 12 hours of orientation required.
- Floating: No floating to other departments required.
