Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer Full Time

An exciting permanent opportunity has opened for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) with an area hospital where you will use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• ARDMS (RVT) required.
• Experience performing vascular and general ultrasound examinations on Samsung ultrasound systems preferred.
• Familiarity with HIS/RIS (Meditech) and PACS (NovaPACS) workflows preferred.
• Ability to manage a patient load of approximately 12-15 patients per day.
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call nights and weekends. Weekend coverage is on-call every other weekend; holidays rotate on-call.
• Willingness to work flex 12-hour shifts, typically three 12-hour shifts with rotating call nights/weekends.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum professional appearance standards: jewelry kept to a minimum; visible face and body piercings (outside traditional ear piercings and small nose studs) are not permitted while on duty.
• Relocation assistance available. Proof of expenses required for relocation bonus reimbursement up to $2,500.
