Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established small animal practice. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, focusing on building long-term relationships with clients while delivering high-quality medical care at every stage of a pet's life.

Working Hours / Rota
The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, and is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups while managing a varied caseload including wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic procedures and surgical treatments, maintaining accurate medical records, prescribing medications and following controlled substance protocols, and providing clear client communication and education. The role also involves monitoring hospital cases, participating in daily rounds when possible, supporting teamwork and staff efficiency, and collaborating with hospital leadership to ensure high standards of care and smooth daily operations. Practice Details
This established small animal hospital has been serving its community since 1986 and focuses on delivering compassionate, relationship-based veterinary medicine. Services include Core Care, Dental Care, Grooming, Routine Exams, Vaccinations & Prevention, Senior Pet Care, Puppies & Kittens Care, Cold Laser Therapy, Acupuncture, Management of Complex Medical Conditions, Emergency Care, Physical Therapy, and Surgery including Spays and Neuters. The practice emphasizes long-term patient monitoring, preventative medicine, and a welcoming environment designed to keep pets comfortable during visits.

Team
The hospital is supported by 5 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and close-knit environment focused on delivering high-quality veterinary care.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
