Rad Tech / X-Ray Tech Travel Job

Salary: $2,153.80 - $2,353.80 /wk

Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where you'll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Fluoroscopy certification required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Experience working in a hospital radiology department covering inpatient, urgent care, and varied modalities such as X-ray (including portable), CT with contrast, MRI/MRA, and fluoroscopy.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system and Fuji imaging equipment preferred.
• Ability to participate in evening shifts, weekend rotation (every other weekend), and on-call coverage with typical response time of 30 minutes to 1 hour.
• Orientation typically 12 hours; floor-specific orientation 1-2 days depending on skill set.
• Preferred: experience with urgent care 12-hour shifts and hospital 8-hour shifts.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Unit: Radiology; covers all hospital imaging areas and urgent care as needed.
• Shift name: Evenings.
• Shift pattern: 5x8 evening schedule with 8-hour PM shifts.
• Call: Weekday call required from end of shift to next morning, alternating with regular staff; weekend call rotates with hours from 6:00 pm Friday to 6:00 am Monday. Response time 30 minutes to 1 hour.
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
• Orientation hours: 12 hours.
• EMR/Equipment: Cerner charting; Fuji imaging equipment.
