Job Responsibilities:- Manage and grow sales within an assigned region, focusing on both new business development and expansion of existing customer accounts.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within foodservice, retail, distribution, and manufacturing channels.
- Develop and execute strategic monthly and quarterly sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct product presentations, tastings, demos, and training sessions for customers and prospects.
- Attend industry trade shows, food expos, and networking events to generate leads and strengthen brand presence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support long? and short?term sales and marketing initiatives.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and business terms to support profitable growth.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and escalate potential claims to management as needed.
- Monitor competitive activity, analyze market trends, and provide insights to leadership.
- Support financial performance through effective pricing, inventory oversight, and timely accounts receivable follow?up.
- Travel 50% or more within the assigned territory to visit customers, attend events, and conduct fieldwork.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three or more years of high?volume sales experience in the food manufacturing or foodservice industry.
- Proven success in business development, territory management, and account management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence customers.
- Ability to analyze sales data, customer trends, and market insights to guide strategic decisions.
- Self?motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast?paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
Salary Range:
$70K-$80K
