We are currently seeking experienced: service, install and maintain - fire alarm, intrusion, CCTV, and card access technicians. Candidate will be able to use applicable NFPA and NEC codes and have working knowledge of system controls, alarm panels, devices, and components. Must be willing to travel within 4 to 6 hrs radius of your location. Candidates must be comfortable with day or night shifts and be willing to travel out of town for up to 4 weeks at a time.
This role involves work at only commercial retail locations, for the last 39 years.

Resposibilities

• Run low voltage cabling in commercial building, including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work.
• Ensuring all cables are installed per code.
• Experience reading blueprints and site maps
• Experience in conduit installation is preferred.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience inspecting, servicing and /or installing fire alarm systems Required.
• 2 years experience installing CCTV systems, CAT6 cabling, and networking, trouble shooting preferred
• Ability to use electronic test meters to verify and trouble shoot wiring problems..
• Proficient with the use of smart phones, personal computers, including emails, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs.
• Must be able to work alone and as part of a team
• Ability to operate a Boom or scissor lift.
• Ability to work in cramped spaces.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, climb ladders and work at heights up to 35 feet.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required; no DUI or DWI in the last three years.

Compensation:  $21 - $35 per hour (based on experience)
