Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is an animal hospital providing comprehensive, high-quality veterinary care and is hiring for a Veterinarian role. The hospital delivers general and advanced small animal medicine within a collaborative, patient-focused environment. The position is for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine working with companion animals.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The role is full-time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high standards of general veterinary medicine while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Daily responsibilities include leading patient care from diagnosis through treatment, communicating findings and treatment plans clearly, and collaborating closely with the paraprofessional team to support a positive hospital culture.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and also holds Cat Friendly Practice accreditation. It is a modern veterinary facility designed to support exceptional patient care, featuring advanced infrastructure such as lift tables in exam rooms, an advanced ultraviolet ventilation system, private client spaces, and a thoughtfully designed clinical layout. Services offered include complete in-house laboratory testing, emergency medicine, surgery, dentistry with dental radiographs, digital radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, electrocardiograms, stem cell therapy, platelet rich plasma treatments, cold laser therapy, chiropractic adjustments, specialty consultations, wellness and preventative care, behavioral counseling, nutritional counseling, senior care, and puppy and kitten education. The practice culture emphasizes high medical standards, collaboration, mentorship, and professional development.

Team
The veterinary team consists of three DVMs supported by technicians, client care coordinators, assistants, and a facility caretaker. The environment is collaborative, mentoring-focused, and centered on delivering compassionate, thorough care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
