General Practice Veterinarian (Associate Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is an animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their 3-doctor practice. This small animal hospital is committed to providing the highest level of comprehensive veterinary care while educating clients and supporting continued learning for its doctors. The practice has a strong focus on surgery and dentistry, making it an ideal opportunity for veterinarians with a passion for these areas.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and closed on Sundays. Appointment hours run Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The role offers a full-time schedule within these hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will see a varied small animal caseload with a strong emphasis on surgery and dental procedures. Responsibilities include performing wellness care, diagnostics, and surgical services while working closely with clients to provide education and support in their pet's ongoing health. The position is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including new graduates, with mentoring available.

Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment facilities, including in-house laboratory, ultrasound, laser therapy, and a comprehensive pharmacy. Services provided range from vaccinations, wellness exams, surgery, anesthesia, dental care, and diagnostics through to microchipping, prenatal care, and pain management. The practice maintains a strong focus on high-quality, compassionate care rather than cost, ensuring pets receive the best possible treatment.

The hospital currently has 3 veterinarians supported by an experienced team of technicians and support staff. Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
