Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited animal hospital seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established, multi-doctor team. This small animal hospital has proudly served its community for nearly 30 years, offering high-quality medical care, exceptional client service, and a compassionate approach to veterinary medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with Sundays and major holidays closed. There are no late-night or on-call requirements. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, providing flexibility and a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality small animal medicine, surgery, and preventive care. The position offers opportunities to collaborate with an experienced team of veterinarians and to practice progressive medicine in a supportive and team-oriented environment. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and case collaboration available from a team with over 88 years of combined experience.

Practice Details
The hospital features eight updated exam rooms, a fully equipped surgical suite with a surgical laser, digital radiography, ultrasound (including a wireless probe), and an in-house IDEXX laboratory. The facility also includes a separate, AAHA-accredited feline-only clinic with its own exam rooms, isolation and hospitalization wards, treatment, and surgical suite. The practice utilizes a paperless management system and AI-assisted note documentation for efficiency. Services include preventive wellness care, surgery, diagnostics, and dentistry. The hospital is proud of its community involvement, supporting local shelters and rescue organizations through partnerships and complimentary exams for adopted pets.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
