CMTS LLC., is currently seeking a Cost Earned Value Management Lead (Aviation)to join our team!!!

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical expert in cost control. Understand the relationships between the project controls functions of estimating, planning/scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
  • Establish and leverage cross-discipline relationships within the business group to facilitate cost control.
  • Provide cost control leadership on project teams.
  • Review and understand the project contract.
  • Implement and execute proper controls to proactively support, monitor, communicate budget, actual status, forecast costs, labor hours, and quantities for projects within a specific business group. Provide a proactive contribution to the management of risk, cost, and quantities on the project.
  • Develop, publish, and promote the use of change control procedures.
  • Develop accurate and timely project cost forecasts with the participation of lead staff and project management.
  • Analyze performance data to forecast labor hours based on performance.
  • Develop and issue timely cost reports.
  • Manage cash flow on a project. Work with project management and project accounting to maintain an appropriate cash flow.
  • Create and issue client and internal status reports that effectively communicate cost status and trends.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience with increasing responsibility.
  • Knowledge of The Port of Seattle's processes, and Airport experience is desirable.
  • Understand EPC/full-service project delivery processes.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership in the execution of cost control activities on projects.
  • Promote a positive working atmosphere.
  • Be able to effectively communicate complex cost information to varied audiences including engineering, project/construction management, and project teams.
  • Be able to write accurate and meaningful project status reports.
  • Implement and effectively use company-standard and project/program specific cost control systems.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or related technical field. Experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.

Preferred Licenses and Certificates:

  • Active membership in AACE, PMI, or similar association. CCE/CCC certification a plus.
