Single Family Plumbing Estimator

Job Summary:
The Single Family Plumbing Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating plumbing costs for single-family home projects. This role involves reviewing plans, specifications, and site conditions, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and preparing detailed estimates to ensure projects are competitively priced and profitable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review blueprints, specifications, and project scope for single-family homes.
• Prepare detailed plumbing cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor quotes.
• Analyze take-offs for plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to clarify project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, pricing, and historical data.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Stay up-to-date on local codes, materials, and industry standards.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and provide technical support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience estimating plumbing for single-family residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, codes, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in take-off software (e.g., Bluebeam, Sage) and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with construction management software (e.g., Procore).
• Prior field experience in plumbing installation or supervision.
