Manufacturing Lead Installer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lead Installer to oversee on-site activities and perform the precise installation of architectural and electrical signage. This role requires a hands-on leader who can plan installation approaches, direct a small crew, and maintain a professional relationship with clients throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on-site work for installation teams, ensuring quality and efficiency.

• Review drawings, project scopes, and site conditions to determine installation approach.

• Install signage accurately and safely in accordance with approved plans and methods.

• Educate clients on proper operation, maintenance, and setup (including timers or lighting controls).

• Maintain safety compliance and a professional demeanor at all times.

• Communicate clearly with the Installation Manager, team members, and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of installation experience; 3–5 years in the sign industry preferred.

• Strong ability to interpret plans, instructions, and specifications.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing demanding fieldwork.

• Must own or provide personal tools and PPE.

• Willing to work overtime or travel for out-of-area projects when needed.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.

• Previous experience in signage or construction installation preferred.
