Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Medical Director Veterinarian to join their team. This is a full-service small animal practice caring for cats and dogs. The position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to step into a leadership role while continuing to deliver high-quality clinical care.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, while remaining closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position, and doctor hours are open to discussion to provide flexibility around scheduling needs.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director Veterinarian will oversee the delivery of full-service general practice care while also taking on leadership responsibilities within the hospital. Clinical duties include wellness, preventive care, diagnostics, internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry, alongside providing guidance and support to the veterinary team. This role is best suited for an experienced veterinarian with 2-5 years of clinical practice who is ready to combine medical expertise with leadership.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
