Join Our Team as a Veterinarian at Sunshine Animal Hospital!

Are you passionate about providing top-notch care for companion pets and exotics? Sunshine Animal Hospital, established in 1992 and under new ownership for 3 years, is seeking one or two full/part-time associates to join our team. Our hospital offers a wide range of services including surgery, ultrasound, digital radiographs, a complete Abaxis laboratory, and therapy laser. We are state licensed for wildlife rehabilitation and have a supportive staff to work with multiple veterinarians. Our owner, Dr. Kathryn Mainka, values collaboration, teaching, and continuous learning, making Sunshine Animal Hospital a great place to grow your veterinary career.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care for companion pets and exotics
• Perform surgeries, ultrasounds, digital radiographs, and therapy laser treatments
• Utilize Covetrus Pulse cloud-based software and tablets for appointments
• Collaborate with support staff and veterinarians on patient cases
• Participate in wildlife rehabilitation for small mammals, reptiles, and marsupials

Required Skills:

• Experience in small animal care and preventive care
• Proficiency in digital radiography and dental prophylaxis
• Ability to perform anesthesia, endoscopy, and emergency care
