- Ensure volunteers are well-prepared and aligned with program standards
Program Operations & Logistics
- Support day-to-day program operations, including scheduling, supply management, and reporting
- Assist with setup and breakdown of events (on-site and virtual)
- Maintain proper sanitation and handling of materials and equipment in alignment with program protocols
- Ensure compliance with program standards and California health and safety expectations
Administration & Reporting
- Accurately collect, track, and report screening and program data
- Maintain organized records, schedules, and databases, including:
- Visit request tracking systems
- Volunteer coordination tools
- Program reporting logs and agreements
- Participate in weekly meetings, quarterly planning sessions, and team check-ins
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and presentation skills, especially with children and families

- Tech proficiency (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, scheduling platforms)
- Self-motivated with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for oral health, public health, and community impact
Preferred Qualifications
- Active License in CA
- Background in dental assisting, dental hygiene, public health, or health education
- Experience in community outreach, school-based programs, or volunteer coordination
- Familiarity with Medi-Cal dental (Denti-Cal) systems or community health networks
- Bilingual (Spanish or other languages common in the Sacramento region) is a plus
Work Environment & Requirements
- Must reside in the Sacramento, CA area
- Must have a reliable home workspace for remote responsibilities
- Reliable transportation required for local travel and event support
- Ability to travel as needed
Compensation & Support
- Company-issued laptop and tech support
- Mileage reimbursement at current IRS rate
