Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The practice provides comprehensive general practice, emergency, and advanced care services within a modern, recently remodeled facility designed to support high-quality medicine and client comfort. This role offers the opportunity to work within a well-resourced, collaborative environment and is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday and Tuesday from 9:00am to 8:00pm, Wednesday from 8:00am to 8:00pm, Thursday from 9:00am to 8:00pm, Friday from 8:00am to 8:00pm, and Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality veterinary care across a varied caseload. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry with dental radiography, anesthesia, general and soft tissue surgery, spays and neuters, pain management, geriatric medicine, emergency case support, and euthanasia services. The role also involves performing diagnostic workups, managing hospitalized and intensive care patients, and collaborating closely with specialty and support teams. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital operates from a recently remodeled facility featuring twelve exam rooms, three surgical suites, updated treatment areas, ICU wards, and a modern waiting room. Diagnostic and treatment capabilities include digital radiology, digital dental radiography, a GE Logiq ultrasound, endoscopic equipment, Snyder ICU units, Covidien cautery units, isoflurane anesthesia, and advanced anesthesia monitoring. Facilities include an in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, in-house endoscopy, an in-office surgical suite, intensive care unit, isolation ward, oxygen and transfusion therapy, and hospitalization areas. Specialty services include surgery, critical care, internal medicine, cardiac ultrasound, ophthalmology, and advanced diagnostic imaging. The hospital is American Animal Hospital Association accredited and has been serving its local community since 1949.

Team
The clinical team consists of seven DVMs supported by a fantastic and experienced support team. The environment is collaborative and mentoring-focused, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, teaching, and delivering world-class patient and client care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
