Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights? Join a regional hospital in Lakewood, CO as a Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values clinical skill while offering the variety of a high-volume procedural environment. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel with diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate imaging equipment, and support patient care across diagnostic, interventional and electrophysiology cases.
What You'll Need:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification via CCI required.
- ARRT (R) certified Radiologic Technologist required. If ARRT (R) is not held, candidate must obtain Colorado fluoroscopy license (typically available within ~1 week).
- ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required prior to start.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting with solid STEMI and cardiovascular lab technician skills. EP experience preferred.
- Experience with EPIC charting system required.
- Ability to assist in scrub, monitor and circulating roles across Cath, EP and Hybrid labs.
- Willingness to meet facility onboarding requirements including completion of orientation week and submission of valid driver's license within a 60-mile radius requirement.
- Preferred: prior work in a high-volume lab (10-20 cases per day average) and familiarity with STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, and atrial arrhythmia procedures.

- Shift details: Days 0700-1700, structured as 4x10-hour shifts.
- Call requirements: Weeknight call 1-2 per week; weekend call 2 per six-week pay cycle; on-call response time 30 minutes.
- Orientation: Department-specific orientation required; orientation hours: 12.
- Charting/EMR: EPIC.
- Suites/Labs: 2 Cath, 2 EP and 1 Hybrid.
- Average caseload: Approximately 10-20 cases per day.
- Floating: Floating within the department required; may be required to float within the regional zone in extreme need.
- Hiring process: Profile review with clinical team and interview with unit manager.
