Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience within the past 3 years.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Required Skills/Experience: Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. Telemetry, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Neurological/Psychiatric, Orthopedics, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, Medications, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Respiratory, Chest tubes Emerson/PleurEvac, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience preferred. Epic experience within past 12 months preferred. MS/Tele, Med/Surg, Accessing/Managing Ports, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho trauma. Special Requests: No references will be accepted. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation, holidays as needed. Monday - Friday. Can start 4/20, 5/4, 5/18/2026. Floating Requirements: The traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs.
