Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: Genitourinary/Renal, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Respiratory/Thoracic, Care of Ventilated Patient, IV start, Tele

Preferred Skills/Experience: Cardiovascular, ECMO, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, CVVHD/CRRT, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Swans-hemodynamic interpretation, Triage, ICP, PA lines

Required Credentials:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

CRRT

Government issued photo ID required.

Shift & Scheduling:

Can sign for 36 or 48s hours per week

BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

Floating Requirements:

Metro float pool includes Barnes, Christian, MO Baptist, West County, St. Peters, Progress West.

Floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine and COVID.

4 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days

2 references from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
