Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Oncology, Med/Surg, Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Respiratory, Non-invasive airway management

Preferred Skills/Experience: Administer Chemo, Charge Nurse Experience, Previous Charge, Monitoring Chemotherapy

Required Credentials: Drivers License/State ID

Special Requests:

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling:

BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

Placed on holiday rotation based on department needs

Floating Requirements: Yes. Will Float to Progress West as needed; able to be pulled to other departments to care for similar patient population

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear Yes or No response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
