Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Local & travel allowed.

Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - SMP St. Andrews.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: RNs required to read and interpret their own strips; All positions work in the acute Med/Surg, Swing bed, & ER; Access/De-access ports, PICC, Wound Care/wound Vac, Mixing/Preparing Medications.Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: RNs/LPNS: Every other to every 3rd Weekend; Holiday Requirement: May be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation.Floating Requirements: MS/Swing bed to ER, ER to MS/Swing bed.References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job youre applying to.

Shift & Scheduling: Usually every other weekend, however may be 2 out of 4 weekends. Rotating holidays.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
