HVAC Technician

Our client is seeking a HVAC Technician to join their team. As a HVAC Technician, you will be part of a team supporting inbound calls to service products. The ideal candidate will have the following skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: HVAC Technician

Location: Greenwood, IN

Pay Range: 25-27/hour + commission

Whats the Job?

• Service-to-Sales HVAC Technician (Turnover Tech) Responds to service calls for aging/underperforming HVAC systems and identifies replacement opportunities, turning maintenance visits into sales revenue.

• Strong Upselling & Communication Skills Required Must be comfortable recommending full system replacements, explaining cost/value to homeowners, and ideally closing the sale themselves. Revenue capture through effective communication is critical.

• HVAC Technical Background Prior experience as an HVAC Service Technician or Turnover Technician preferred. Licensing is a plus but not required. Must be technically strong enough to confidently assess older equipment and recommend solutions.

• Comp-Driven, Sales-Oriented Mindset Base pay plus commission and spiffs on select products; high performers can exceed six figures annually. Ideal candidate is motivated by commission and opportunity to earn.

• Operational Fit & Logistics Based out of Greenwood covering a 1-hour radius. Company vehicle, phone, and iPad provided. Experience with tools like ServiceTitan is a plus. Candidates should ideally have their own tools (tool assistance available if needed).
