Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates extended weekday hours, opening Monday through Thursday from 7:00am to 7:00pm, and on Fridays from 7:00am to 5:00pm. Saturday hours run from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and the practice is closed on Sundays. The position is open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians, with flexibility available to discuss scheduling preferences. There are no out-of-hours or emergency care requirements associated with this role, allowing veterinarians to maintain a healthy and predictable work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care using a relationship-based approach that prioritizes patient wellbeing and client communication. The role involves managing a varied caseload that includes routine wellness appointments, sick and urgent care visits, and surgical procedures during the hospital's operating hours. The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including digital radiography, dental radiographs, ultrasound, and a surgical laser, enabling the team to provide thorough diagnostics and advanced treatment options. Services offered include wellness and preventative care, dentistry, sick and urgent care, diagnostics, pain management, surgery, and end-of-life care, ensuring comprehensive support for patients at every life stage.

Team
The Associate Veterinarian will join a team of seven DVMs who collectively bring over 75 years of combined experience, providing an exceptional standard of veterinary care for patients and clients. The veterinary team is supported by a well-educated and highly qualified group of support staff who are committed to maintaining excellence in veterinary medicine. The practice places a strong emphasis on staff development and mentorship, with several former team members now training to become veterinarians. The environment is close-knit and community-focused, with a strong team culture that includes annual social events such as a much-loved Fourth of July celebration.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
