Our client is a long-established, family-run veterinary hospital in Martinsburg, West Virginia, seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their expanding team. This is a respected small-animal practice that cares for dogs, cats, and companion animals across all life stages with deep community roots. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital maintains a consistent weekly schedule that supports strong work-life balance. The practice is open from 7:00am to 6:00pm on Mondays and Fridays, from 7:00am to 7:00pm on Tuesdays through Thursdays, and from 8:00am to 12:00pm on Saturdays. Sundays are closed, ensuring at least one fully protected weekend day. This is a full-time position, and veterinary hours will align with hospital operations. The clinic's size and staffing allow the rota to be structured collaboratively to support individual preferences where possible.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for a wide variety of companion animals. Daily responsibilities include performing thorough physical examinations, diagnosing medical conditions, developing tailored treatment plans, and communicating thoughtfully and clearly with clients. Surgical duties encompass soft-tissue procedures and dentistry, with mentorship available for newer graduates or those wishing to strengthen their clinical confidence. The role invites veterinarians who value teamwork, medical autonomy, and high-quality patient care. The hospital welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering structured mentorship from a seasoned team of clinicians who enjoy teaching.

Team
The incoming veterinarian will join a team of ten dedicated DVMs supported by seven registered veterinary technicians and an exceptional group of assistants and client service professionals. Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
