The Director of Plant Operations provides strategic and operational leadership across all plant functions to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production within a high?volume food manufacturing environment

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing departmental policies, objectives, goals, and organizing officials and staff members.
• In charge of coordinating businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales or distribution of products.
• Oversees and drives operational excellence across manufacturing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory control, purchasing, facilities, and maintenance.
• Directs daily production activities, workforce utilization, and workflow optimization to achieve output, quality, and service targets.
• Leads supply chain operations including procurement, inventory management, production planning, and distribution.
• Monitor businesses and agencies to make sure services are provided within budgetary limits.
• Ensures that all employees adhere to GMPs.
• Oversee daily operations in food manufacturing, ensuring compliance with CGMP and food safety standards.
• Manage budgeting and cost control processes, utilizing accounting software for financial reporting.
• Oversees the physical plant, including HVAC, water, mechanical, electrical, utilities, and grounds, ensuring safe and reliable operations.
• Minimizes downtime through proactive maintenance, asset management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensures full compliance with regulatory and industry standards including OSHA, GMPs, HACCP, and SQF.

• BA in Business, Management , Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five years of hands?on leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational and process?development skills with a proven ability to build and execute operational systems.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational and leaderships skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range:

$140K-$160K
