Job Summary
Job Description
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining cleanliness, consistency, and teamwork. This role supports the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure every guest receives great food, every time.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Set up and stock station with necessary supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with food prep, plating, and service during peak hours
Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Properly store food and rotate inventory (FIFO)
Help with kitchen opening and closing duties
Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude
Qualifications
Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred (but willing to train the right person)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Weekend, evening, and holiday availability
