Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Head Carpenter to lead construction and carpentry operations on-site. The ideal candidate must have hands-on carpentry skills, especially in woodwork and kitchen cabinetry, combined with strong leadership, planning, and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Carpentry & Cabinetry Work

• Execute and supervise carpentry tasks, including framework, roofing, and interior finishes.
• Install and oversee the construction of kitchen cabinets and custom woodwork.
• Ensure high-quality craftsmanship in all wood-related construction work.
• Ensure construction work aligns with specified methods, materials, and building codes.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Ensure that workmanship and materials meet the required standards.
• Provide daily or weekly progress reports and updates as required.

Required Attributes & Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to enforce discipline on site.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for coordinating tasks and documenting progress.
• Ability to plan work schedules, prioritize duties, and multitask under pressure.
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety practices.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and compliance at every stage.
• Proactive problem-solver capable of providing solutions on-site when challenges arise.
• Honest, reliable, and accountable in handling site activities and reporting progress.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5–7 years of hands-on carpentry experience, including team supervision.
• Proven experience in kitchen cabinetry and general woodwork.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safety protocols.
