FG Construction, LLC has an exceptional opportunity and vital role for a Construction Project Manager to establish themselves with a rapidly growing construction company. FG Construction is a commercial concrete repair and asphalt paving contractor looking for a self-driven talented person who demonstrates a commitment to excellence in work and who possesses the character needed for teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Job Function:

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading project teams within the construction projects from the preconstruction and construction phase through closeout.

Responsibilities:

  • Total project responsibility, scheduling, safety, staff compliance, staff developments and reviews, buyouts, and contract negotiation, pay applications, job status meetings, and quality control.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, contractors, city and county officials to ensure compliance with contract documents and specifications.
  • Develop project schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensure quality control and safety standards are mainted throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Keep clients informed concerning the progress of the project and any issues that might affect the schedule, budget, or status of the project.
  • Prepare and submit project doucmentation, change orders, progress reports, and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve field issues.
  • Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years' of experience in Construction project management, specifically in roadway paving and civil infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with project managment software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Willingness to travel to various site locations
  • Must obtain a valid Florida Driver's License and safe-driving record.

Desired:

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
  • FDOT project experience.
