Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Downers Grove, IL (in office 6 times a month)
Job Type: 6-month contract with the potential to convert to FTE
Full-time or Part-time: Full-time (contractor)
Pay Range: $24-30/hr.

Overview
We are looking for highly skilled Senior Collections Specialist with deep Business to Business experience performing complex account reconciliations.
This individual will be responsible for coordinating and following through on collecting payments, collection plans, reducing past due, bad debt exposure, and other quantitative targets, by performing portfolio management activities for customer base of key accounts. Attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking capabilities are vital to being successful in this role.

Responsibilities

• Initiate collection calls to customers
• Identify issues contributing to account delinquency
• Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports
• Make recommendations to management regarding customers to be placed on hold or sent to collection
• Review credit limits for new and existing accounts

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a collections role in a commercial/B2B environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel at an Intermediate level or above (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• MS D365 or similar ERP accounting application experience
• Experience with Coupa required
• Knowledgeable in AP processing (prior experience)
• Ability to source process improvements, automation , PO to Invoice workflows, approvals, payables management
