We’re seeking Full time Occupational Therapists to work within an Inpatient Hospital setting in Gainesville, FL. They’re offering a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus plus Relocation Assistance!

Shift/Schedule:
· Days (Rotating Weekends): 7:30a-4p, but schedules will be dependent on hospital needs.
Hospital Details:
A brand new 90-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center opening in May 2026. The hospital will feature comprehensive emergency care, minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery including orthopedic surgery, general surgery and spine surgery, and a 30-bed in-patient rehabilitation unit.
What you will do in the role:
Occupational Therapists play a vital role in helping patients regain independence, confidence, and quality of life after illness or injury. Guided by our mission to care for and improve human life, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to each patient’s unique goals and capabilities. Working closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team, you will evaluate needs, develop individualized care plans, and provide hands-on treatment that supports recovery through every stage of healing. - Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team
- Deliver evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life
- Monitor progress, refining therapy plans, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation of outcomes
- Educate patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions throughout recovery
- Leading by example—mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding the hospital’s values of excellence, compassion, and integrity
Requirements:
- 1+ years of Occupational Therapist preferred and does not need to be in acute care.
- Would be open to New Grads!
- State Licensed Occupational Therapist Required
- Must have completed a Master of Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy program Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Compensation:
Pay range: UP to Max $44.72/hr.
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Relocation assistance: Available case by case basis
