Thrive Beyond Trauma Counseling is a specialized, heart-centered private practice dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and partners heal from trauma, betrayal trauma, and behavioral addictions such as porn, sex, and love addiction. We combine compassion with clinical excellence, offering a warm, evidence-based space for true transformation.

As we grow from an individual to a group practice, we’re looking for passionate, driven, and grounded therapists who are ready to specialize deeply and help redefine how people heal from trauma and addiction.

“When I started Thrive Beyond Trauma Counseling, I wasn’t trying to build another therapy office — I wanted to build a home for healers and a space for true change.
We’re on a mission to help people break free from shame, trauma, and behavioral addictions — and to make that care accessible to everyone, not just those who can pay out-of-pocket.
Our dream reaches beyond therapy rooms: from TED-style awareness talks to creating global programs that normalize recovery and make healing affordable.

Specialty Focus: We center on behavioral addiction recovery, trauma healing, infidelity/betrayal work, and advanced couples counseling, rather than general therapy.
Built-in support & growth: We invest fully in our clinicians — offering in-house training, certification support, paid supervision, and handling all credentialing, insurance paneling, and client acquisition.
Client-first operations: Our administrative team handles scheduling, intake, insurance coordination, and logistics so clinicians can focus wholly on providing deep therapeutic presence.
High-level modalities: Our clinicians integrate EMDR, attachment repair, polyvagal regulation, somatic therapy, Gottman method, and relational neuroscience-informed practices.
Relational culture: We cultivate a supportive, collaborative, and trauma-informed team environment. Clinicians are encouraged to evolve, consult, co-treat, support one another, and do their own healing work.
Geographic & logistic accessibility: Based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, we serve clients locally and regionally within about a 30-minute radius, while building specialty reach and influence.
