This large hospital system operates a dedicated cancer center providing specialized hematology and oncology services with established protocols for comprehensive cancer and blood disorder treatment delivery. The facility maintains coordinated care across clinical and support teams designed to promote quality patient outcomes. Hospital privileges are required for this position.

Albert Lea, Minnesota offers a range of outdoor activities, including boating, fishing, camping, biking, and kayaking, with Myre-Big Island State Park serving as a destination for nature enthusiasts. The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing 14-16 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing hematologic and oncologic conditions in an outpatient setting. Call coverage follows a rotating 1:3 schedule, and hospital privileges are required for this position. Clinicians must maintain documentation through the Epic EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities.
