Urology Physician

RecruitWell is seeking a Board Certified Urologist for a locums opportunity in Longview, Washington.

• Start Date: 6/29/2026
• Assignment Length: Ongoing through 12/31/2026
• Coverage Need: 2 FTEs
• Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Combination of 8-hour day shifts plus 24-hour call
• Call Requirement: 7 days of unrestricted call per month
• Weekend Call: 1:2 rotation with 7-day 24-hour call coverage

When on call:

• 3 clinic days
• 1 OR day
• 7 consecutive days of 24-hour call
• Admin/rest day built in for physician recovery and safety

When not on call:

• Approximately 4 clinic days per week
• 1 OR day
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule

• Coverage needed due to gap in provider coverage
• Practice between Medical Center and Urology Clinic located approximately 1 mile apart
• Both hospital and clinic privileges required
• Inpatient and outpatient setting
• Average 18 patients per day
• Providers will work independently

• Diagnose and treat:
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Kidney stones
  • Male incontinence
• Yearly refills
• Cystoscopies
• Surgical assist
• Standard urology procedures in both clinic and OR

• Catheter placement
• Stent placement
• Cystoscopy
• TURP
• Ureteroscopy
• Prostate biopsy
• Circumcision
• Shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)
• Orchiopexy
• TURBT
• Hydrocelectomy
• Spermatocelectomy
• PVP
• Litholapaxy

• 122-bed facility
• EMR: Epic
• Fast-track or urgent credentialing available

• Board Certified in Urology
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Active Washington state medical license required at time of presentation
• IMLC not accepted for this opening
• Washington CSR required
• Required certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS(American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)

• Established urology practice with a balanced clinic and OR schedule
• Opportunity for ongoing coverage through year-end
• Variety of procedural work with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• Fast credentialing available for qualified candidates
