Hospitalist Physician

Coverage Needed:5 shifts per month

Schedule Details:

• 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Pressing need is for Nocturnist coverage
• 7 on / 7 off required
• PRN fill-in shifts available
• No call required

Department:Hospitalist - Nocturnist

Patient Volume:

• Average rounding census: 15-18 patients
• Average admissions per 12-hour shift: 8

EMR:EPIC

EMR Experience:EMR/documentation system experience preferred

Procedures / Department Details:

• No central venous catheter placements required
• No procedures required

Specific Skills Required:

• No additional skills required outside the normal scope of practice for a Hospitalist

Requirements:

• DEA Required
• Vaccines mandatory
• Active North Carolina medical license required
• NCMB license and DEA must be in hand to submit for privileges
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Board Certified preferred
• Experienced Hospitalists preferred, though minimum experience is not required

Privileging Timeframe:60-90 days
