Job Title - Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)

Location: Louisville, Kentucky

Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a highly skilled surgical team at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY. This position is ideal for a compassionate and detail-oriented RN with strong acute care and CVOR experience who is committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a fast-paced surgical

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments according to clinical policies and patient condition
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure quality surgical care
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and document clinical outcomes accurately
• Provide patient and family education related to procedures, treatment, and discharge planning
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies
• Serve as a mentor/preceptor to nursing staff and support a collaborative team environment
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience
• CVOR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
