Welder Pipefitter

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Pipefitter to join our dynamic team at Axcess. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in various industrial and commercial settings, Tig and Stick welding. You must have previous welding and mechanical experience. Travel is required as we work all across the US.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout, install, maintain and repair all types of pipe fittings and fixtures according to blueprints
• Proficient in using various measuring tools to establish position or configuration of plans
• Utilize calipers and other measuring tools for precise installations.
• Maintain existing piping systems through regular inspections and repairs.
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
• Follow all safety guidelines set by OSHA, Axcess Industries, and the client.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role in the mechanical field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• 3+ years TIG welding experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work effectively with hand tools and machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Travel up to 2 weeks at a time.
