This facility is seeking a Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Hospital: Monday 7:30a-4p
• Clinic: Monday 9a-1pm and Friday 9a-1p
• Call Schedule 9a-1p, every other weekend, 2 days/week (rounding included)
• Types of Cases: Endoscopic and radial artery harvesting required, interpret electrocardiogram, X-rays, Labs, ECMO, IABP and Impella. Rounding on inpatients post-op, first assist in surgery and seeing patients in clinic.
• State Licenses: Active California state medical license, Board Certified, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
