Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal and exotics practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their established team. Since 1991, they have provided high-quality veterinary care to dogs, cats, pocket pets, and exotic species. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who values individualized patient care, a strong medical standard, and a supportive, long-standing clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Sundays from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The position offers flexibility for full-time or part-time scheduling, with no additional after-hours required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role includes providing high-quality veterinary care across wellness and prevention, diagnostics, internal medicine, urgent care, surgical procedures, and advanced services. You will build strong client relationships, guide pet owners through treatment planning, and work closely with a supportive paraprofessional team. The position is open to both new graduates and experienced doctors.

Practice Details
The practice delivers a wide scope of small animal and exotics care, supported by advanced diagnostics and surgical capabilities. Services include wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, surgical procedures, urgent care, cardiology, endocrinology, oncology, ophthalmology, and laser therapy. The clinic maintains a strong culture of collaboration and continuous development, supported by a larger network that provides access to internal specialty consultations for complex cases.

Team
The practice is home to 4 DVMs supported by a brilliant and dedicated team of paraprofessionals. The working environment emphasizes mentorship, collaboration, and strong medical standards, ensuring every team member feels supported and valued.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
